Monica Jimenez went to Texas A&M University. She combines her passion for nature and art with her skills in events, communication, and graphic design. She is currently the Economic Development Coordinator at City Of Eagle Pass, where she supports the city's growth and prosperity through various initiatives and projects.Previously, she was the Art Center Coordinator at City hall of Eagle Pass, where she oversaw the operations and programs of the Art & Culture Center. She successfully organized and promoted multiple exhibitions, workshops, and community events, attracting diverse audiences and increasing public engagement. She also leveraged her CNA certification and medical receptionist experience to ensure the safety and health of the visitors and staff, especially during the pandemic. Monica is a bilingual leader who is proficient in ArcGis and experienced in curatorial projects. She is motivated by the opportunity to enrich the cultural and environmental awareness of her city.
