About Monique Davis

CAPE’s purpose is to use original artworks, exhibitions, programs, and engagements with artists to increase understanding and inspire new narratives in contemporary Mississippi. As the Director I am responsible for ensuring that our exhibits and programs reflect CAPE's core values of Truth, Transparency, and Equity. I am also responsible for expanding and deepening our relationship to our community and creating ways to share power authentically. Art has the unique ability to transform hearts and shift perspectives, and CAPE provides a platform where change can happen.
