As a floater teacher I was responsible for helping the classrooms that were down a teacher or camp counselor. Some days I would move around from classroom to classroom, others I was placed to work in one specific classroom. Responsibilities included: basic supervison, interacting/playing with the children, enforcing of the rules in a responsible yet respectful way, help children with tasks yet learned (suncreen, shoes, dressing, etc.), aid in lead-teacher led lessons, help with organizing meals, accident report (physical injury while at school/camp), reporting any suspicions (maltreatment of child) to manager, giving a brief daily report to parents at pickup, and helping maintain a enjoyable environment for the children (ex: conflict resolution). Depending on which age group (range: six weeks- twelve years) I was with, my responsibilities varied.Infants: changing, putting down for a nap, and keeping a detailed record of their day (nap times, when changed and what BM it consisted of, food ate).Toddlers (2-3 years): Aid in bathroom/ potty training, naptime, story time.Children(3-5 years): Lots of encouragment to explore their surroundings and passions, teaching children to respect one another and show fairness, naptime (for some), more indepth lessons on class material.Summer Camp (6-12 years): No curriculum, predominately supervision, conflict resolution, and encouragement to try new things and be respectful to fellow camp members.

During down time, sales associates were responsible for keeping a clean and orderly store.
