40 years Law Enforcement, Police Supervision and Administrative Command experience. Specializing in troubleshooting problems encountered with the funding, operations and organization of the large and small Law Enforcement agency and or its functionality and it’s professional policy creation, inclusive of Civil Service rules and State Laws.

Captain of the Youngsville Police Department Reserve Officer program. Organize Law enforcement and community service personnel to perform specific special event protective and Law Enforcement services during organized events where additional police personnel are needed. Supervise all Police Reserve Officers and maintain all training and scheduled meeting records for the Reserve Officer unit. Assist the Department with disciplinary control of all employees through a measured and equitable Disciplinary Reviewboard. Participate with recruiting and hiring of Reserve Officers and full time employees through participation on an Oral Review board and provide advice to Command and Internal Affairs personnel on the hiring of law enforcement personnel.

Worked as a Police Officer for 12 years which includes 2 years as a SWAT Operator, 2 years as an ATAC-DWI detection and arrest Officer and a Master Field Training Officer for 8 years and trained over 30 new Officers. Patrol Supervisor for 11 years which includes 3 years as the Traffic Unit Supervisor, where I directly oversaw, assisted and approved all fatality investigations and trained all Traffic personnel in the use of the Nikon D-50 Total station for the reconstruction of fatality crashes. RADAR and LIDAR certified. Directly responsible for payroll, scheduling, supervising Hit and Run investigations and investigators, inventory control for the Traffic unit as well as conducting administrative investigations and conducting traffic and crash incident data for both the Department and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and creating progressive solutions for the reduction of those violations and crashes. Three years as Patrol Lieutenant including1 year as a dedicated night time Watch Commander and 5 months as a Precinct Administrative Lieutenant. Promoted to the rank of Captain and transferred to Precinct -1 (Precinct Commander)where I was directly responsible for reducing crime and traffic issues within the Precinct and to directly supervise a Precinct Administrative Lieutenant, a 5 man Crime Suppression, Violent Offender Unit and 2 Precinct Investigators. Crime in the Precinct-1 area was reduced by a full 4percent in just eight months. Transferred to the Departments Services Division as Services Commander where I directly supervised 2 Lieutenants and oversaw and advised other supervisors on the daily operations of Fleet services, Communications, Training, SRO, Public Information Office, Records, Alarms and Permits and the Evidence and Property Sections. While Services Commander I volunteered to tackle the very difficult and challenging objective of achieving national Law enforcement agency Accreditation with the CALEA Commission which was achieved in 2013.
