At the time, home networks and Home WiFi was becoming common place in South African homes. This is why the initial focus was to deliver these services.Since starting the company I have made sure that we can install and service Control4 and Crestron as home control solutions. I have been appointed as the partner for ad notam mirror televisions in South Africa.My responsibilities include:-Import of products-Distribution of products-Keeping up to date with latest product information.-Maintaining relevant marketing material

On the project management side I was responsible for 2 main studio builds:OpenRoom Productions in Greenside, Johannesburg.-Daily progress meetings with the Client.-Time management of the project.-Management of TrueSound Acoustics employees.-Management of the Subcontractors on the project.-Procurement of all local materials.-Leading the construction by educating the staff onsite and showing them the end goals. Guiding them through the process of building the studio.BigLeap Production and Post. Boulevard Office Park, Woodstock, Cape Town.-Daily progress meetings with the Client.-Daily planning meetings with subcontractor.-Procurement of all material required by subcontractor.-Consultation with client for final finishes (Paint colours, fabric colours, light fixtures etc)-Final snags & hand over.My other focus was on meeting clients regarding their audio requirements.Over and above this I was required to:Deliver new product information and stock to the Music Connection stores in Cape Town and Johannesburg.Supply Auralex Acoustics products to Buck Broadcast.Maintaining all service work for University of the Western Cape.

Based from a retail store, sales of Bang & Olufsen Audio & Video equipment to private clients for use in Home environments.Daily work responsibilities included:Showroom management:- Cleaning of showroom and all equipment- Checking that all sales equipment is working and in good condition- Checking sales stock and making sure that all sales books have suitable capacity for daily sales- Contributing to the planning of equipment layout considering favourite routes through the showroom- Preparing and installing in window displays- Insuring enough suitable marketing material and magazines are available for clients and store visitors.Interior Designers and Architects Management:- Insuring that our regular Designers and Architects had recent Bang & Olufsen Magazines- Consultations with relevant designers for our clients installationsSales Management:- Management of new sales from initial contact with clients- Visiting clients at their homes to discuss their Audio Video requirements- Planning for equipment installation- Insure that installation team are correctly instructed and prepared for any installations- Generating Sales Invoices and Instruction manuals for final presentation upon handover- Generating Bang & Olufsen Guarantee Registrations- Client training to show them how to use their new Bang & Olufsen systems
