My responsibilities were to have the crafts prepared, instruct the groups in how to create their craft, and to assist wherever needed. Outside of my arts and crafts responsibilities, I assisted in the cabins, at "Surprise Hour," and in chapel. At Camp o' the Pines, I had the privilege to lead 10 campers to the Lord.

    I had the opportunity to work at Martial Arts America as a summer day camp counselor. I led a group of about 15-20 children. I worked with children ages 6 to 12 years old. Every day we had craft time, game time, and a field trip to various places outside of the studio. I feel as though I gained beneficial experience working in a non-Christian environment, yet I now have a new appreciation for Christian organizations. Working at Martial Arts America has helped me see the importance for a Christ-centered education, and I plan to keep that a priority in my classroom
