Responsibilities include: client training and technical support, maintenance of client database, and billing support; conceive and design future release features, including communications with overseas development team; risk management, including tracking and documentation of releases, features, and bugs; develop marketing strategies, compile mailing lists, create HTML and text email marketing pieces, and coordinate and execute distribution of electronic advertising campaigns; and generate and disseminate various reports, presentations, and forms for internal and affiliate use.

Responsibilities include: underwrite new and existing groups within published time frames; review and analyze Requests for Proposals and prospective quotes from Brokers and Consultants; examine underwriting notices for benefit changes, new business, and terminations for accuracy; compile data and produce reports from Regence systems; assess renewing groups to ensure compliance and request materials for audit review if necessary; communicate Underwriting needs to Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities include: analysis of financial statements, cash flows, and collateral credit strengths for new consumer loan applications with approval authority for $200,000 and below; assess applications over $200,000 and make recommendations, including review of stability of loan files for subordinations, modifications and change in terms agreements; prepare lender documents for all such procedures; enforce 24-hour turn-around decisional policy; ensure all closing documents are delivered to originator; perform annual reviews of Home Equity Lines of Credit of $100,000 and over; risk management, including research when questions arise of whether HomeStreet's secured property has become a rental property and is no longer owner occupied; and review of delinquent files to make a determination and recommendation for suspension or termination. In addition to these responsibilities, other functions included training all backup Underwriters, participating in and leading various training classes, creating and reviewing policies and procedures, creating and disseminating reports regarding the rate of prime and its relation to consumer delinquencies for Home Equity Lines of Credit and assisting with the creation and formatting of various reports and forms for use throughout the company including the creation of an online "decisioning" system.
