Hello everyone!Join me on my unconventional path to nursing, where service, advocacy, and creativity combine to revolutionize healthcare. I'm currently a sophomore pre-nursing student at Spelman College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Women's Studies with a concentration in women's health and an Associate in Creative Writing. As a Bonner Scholar, I'm deeply committed to serving my community, dedicating 140 hours per semester to diverse initiatives such as community outreach, educational support, tutoring, and volunteering at local food banks. My strengths lie in empathetic engagement, service-oriented dedication, and the interdisciplinary skills honed through my diverse studies. Through active involvement in various on-campus activities, I've cultivated collaboration, clear communication, and effective time management skills.Post-graduation, I'm passionate about pursuing a nursing career, specializing in labor and delivery, NICU care, or family practice. Whether through an accelerated bachelor's program or a non-major master's program, I'm eager to continue learning and contribute to improving healthcare outcomes for women and their families.I'm actively seeking opportunities to expand my healthcare knowledge through research, shadowing, and volunteering roles. I'm enthusiastic about immersing myself in this field and gaining valuable experience to prepare for future career opportunities. If you have any questions or connections, don't hesitate to reach out!
