While Morgan intercultural has conducted training, coaching and consulting for more than 75 countries, India continues to be an area of strong specialization for us under the name of India Intercultural Resources.While Tom has lived and worked in Nepal, Turkey, Cyprus, the Philippines, Norway, Nicaragua, England, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Italy, his principal area of expertise is India. He has lived, studied and worked on the Indian subcontinent for a total of three years. His family connections with India date back to the 1930s, when his uncle, Kenneth W. Morgan, was associated with Mahatma Gandhi, the Jawaharlal Nehru family and other major figures in the Indian independence movement. Tom’s uncle Ken prepared groundbreaking textbooks on Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam to promote East-West understanding, and helped to found the Harvard Center for the Study of World Religion. Tom, in his turn, has spent much of his life studying Indian culture, the ancient traditions and historical roots of modern Indian culture, and modern Indian business culture and trends. A significant portion of his work continues to be helping companies and organizations doing business in India, helping them to bridge and navigate cultural differences between the U.S. and India.

With TMC I’ve been part of a team of facilitators conducting inclusive leadership workshops, including those we did for a “Big Four” global accounting firm at their offices in New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit, Cincinnati, Houston, and other cities. More than 7000 senior managers participated in the inclusive leadership workshops we facilitated.The business case for creating a more inclusive culture begins with the point that diversity alone is not enough in today’s world.
