Robotic Process Automation Team• Goal of the project was to discover what capabilities an RPA team may bring to BECU and its impact. This resulted in uncovering time wastes in multiple department’s value streams, transitioning from a proof of concept to a product team, starting a Center of Engagement, and Citizen Developer boot camps.• Responsibilities include: o Initial Project Ideation o Creating developer guidelines for RPA Center of Engagement. o Working with different departments and BAs to provide solution design, development, and automated testing and deployment. o Providing pair programming, technical support, and code reviews for offshore teams. o Working in small experiments testing assumptions for upcoming automations to reduce risks and unknowns. o Creating component libraries for legacy applications to reduce challenges with automating and maintenance of elements.• Team used Kanban to track cycle times and lead times from idea to production. Automation development was built through UiPath Studio, VB, and C#. Used Azure and Git for repositories and version control. All builds, automated testing and deployments ran via Azure Pipelines and different UiPath Orchestrator Tenants.

Service Now Team• Tasked with helping BECU’s Service Now team reduce work in progress on inflight applications. Resulting in streamlining 13 processes, creation of 25 web applications, and freeing up time for Senior Developer to focus on internal process improvements and tech debt.• Duties included: o Working directly with Business Partner to understand problem trying to solve with Service Now. o Created example dashboards and metrics from previous builds to help Business Partners make better decisions on presenting data. o Implemented data tables and forms based on mocks created with Business Partners. o Led weekly reviews of applications to collect feedback. o Helped provide hyper care after production release.• Team’s work style was Lean based, used a combination of Service Now Studio, C#, and JavaScript to implement applications.

Point of Sales Team• Worked on implementing a new front-end website to replace a legacy Loan Origination System with the goal to reduce the dependency on vendor application.• Responsibilities included: o Pairing with UX/UI Designer before Sprints to strategize building and testing web components to be WCAG AA compliant. o Implementing UI functionality and styling per User Story. This included implementing automated unit and integration tests. o Writing and testing server-side functionality such as validation and how data gets translated to other back-end systems using. o Led Sprint Reviews with Stakeholders when a Product Owner wasn’t available to present. o Assisted Senior Developers with interviewing potential developers and SDETs for different tech teams.• Team worked in 1-to-2-week sprints with focus on Scrum methodology. Development life cycle built around Gitflow and Azure Pipelines for testing and deployment. Application consisted of client tier, web tier, server tier, and data tier. Stack built on .Net Core, IIS, T-SQL, NodeJS, and 3rd party loan origination system.

• Published a Fantasy Football application for Android and iOS, where you the team owner gets interviewed by your favorite pro football personalities and then share with your friends.• Responsible for implementing Android UI, building a Service for managing sending and receiving video data from AWS, manually testing different screen sizes, and publishing to Google Store. Refactored Service to handle poor service areas and cache data locally until in a better service area, resulting in a better user experience and prevent thread locking. • Wrote and tracked User Stories with customer in Trello, implemented application with Java and other dependencies such as RXJava, and used Android Studio’s Emulator to test different OS versions
