As a consultant at EzMedical (a medical devices manufacturer) I was responsible for:- Developing and testing the Human Machine Interface (HMI) for a ventilator device.- Coaching and mentoring the software team, while performing performance evaluation and Providing Guidance for the team members about best practices and techniques to comply with the certification requirements while achieving high maintainability of the code and clean structure.- Designing the architecture of the code in a way that allows for rapid iteration without requiring architecture redesign or huge code rewrites.- Implementing and maintaining software standards, protocols, and documentation for the software development life cycle (SDLC).- Troubleshooting and resolving software issues and bugs reported by the testing and certification departments.- Collaborating with the hardware engineers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers to ensure the software functionality, reliability, and compatibility with the hardware and the user requirements.
