Moutushi Sengupta is a senior development professional with extensive managerial and leadership experience in the APAC region. She brings rich leadership experience of working with a range of diverse funding institutions, including the erstwhile Department for International Development of Government of United Kingdom, the John D and Catherine T MacArthur Foundation and the first southern member of the Oxfam family, Oxfam India. Till recently, she was engaged as the Asia Regional Director for Co-Impact, a global philanthropy that seeks to provide inclusive and sustainable change for women in the global south. Moutushi brings in depth expertise in developing and executing institutional and program strategies, building strategic partnerships, non-profit management, philanthropic grantmaking and financing for development and developing and establishing frameworks for learning and evaluation. She has successfully managed several institutional transitions, working with multicultural, diverse teams and actively leading on establishing collaborations of like-minded partners for enhanced impact on the ground. At a personal level, Moutushi brings in a learner's curiosity to understanding challenges and in identifying solutions that are collectively owned. She is a strong team person, who deeply enjoys working with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions.She holds a dual Masters degree, one in Applied Environment Economics from the University of London and another in Business Administration from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
