As a key member of the senior leadership team of AVPN, Moutushi actively contributes to the development and execution of AVPN’s vision and organisation strategy for driving capital towards impact in the South Asia region. She works with her team to support global and regional funder members in AVPN’s network and other philanthropy funders to accelerate the pace and to increase the volume of development financing to non-profit organizations in Asia through philanthropic grants and other instruments of concessional finance. In addition, she leads in designing and execution of several initiatives directed at strengthening the development ecosystem in Asia.

India

As the lead for South Asia, Moutushi played a lead role in Co-Impact's strategic positioning, relationship management and in establishing partnerships in the region. She was closely involved in identifying, assessing and recommending high-impact grants, monitoring them and supporting program partners to develop and execute effective programs for greater inclusion. One of her key responsibilities was to review and synthesize program partner reports, prepare memos that succinctly track progress and make evidence informed recommendations for action. She also lead in negotiating and managing high value development contracts to non-profit grantee organizations. She was responsible for the management, mentoring and supporting her team members in achieving regional and organisational objectives.

India

Moutushi provided strategic leadership to the Foundation's work in India. She lead in identifying and developing collaborations, partnerships and programs for the Foundation in country. She oversaw grant making in India, which is largely focused on supporting civil society organizations in achieving the country's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets on Climate Change mitigation. Since the start of the climate program in 2015, she has actively contributed to building a strong portfolio of 70+ projects and 30+ partners with an overall investment of $45+ million. In addition, she has closely engaged in developing a rich portfolio of grants, directed towards relief and recovery from CoVID-19. She managed the Foundation's office in New Delhi, with a highly capable team of professional staff. She also served as the first point of contact for external and internal stakeholders for all issues related to the Foundation's presence and grantmaking in India. During her tenure with the Foundation, Moutushi successfully lead on the design and execution of exit programs for the Population and Reproductive Health and Girls' Secondary Education initiatives in India and, ensured a smooth transition to the new priority on Climate Change.

Moutushi lead the process of developing and executing the multi-sectoral program and advocacy strategy for Oxfam India, building in a strong rights-based narrative. She played a key role in identifying priority themes- including humanitarian assistance, focus geographies and target population groups for the program. In partnership with Oxfam India's Fundraising team, Moutushi closely engaged in developing its institutional fundraising strategy. She actively engaged in establishing processes and systems for gathering and analyzing program data for improved results management. Also, as a senior member of the first southern member in the Oxfam family, she participated in and provided voice to several regional and global teams, seeking to set up processes for improved quality of program management. As part of Oxfam India's Senior Leadership Team, she directly interacted with the Governing Board and contributed to key decisions for the organization.

Moutushi managed the Human Resource and Facilities and Estates Management functions for the 120+ member India team to ensure successful delivery of organizational objectives and strategy. She ensured robust HR administration and HR strategy execution. She closely engaged with Team Leaders and members from Senior Leadership Team on high-quality talent acquisition and onboarding, effective salary and benefits administration, performance management and by providing opportunities for appropriate learning and development activities for staff in DFID India. She also maintained oversight of other administrative functions such as corporate finance, office and estate management and overall office administration.

Moutushi lead and managed large, multi-cultural, diverse teams to design and implement program strategies at the sub-national level. She actively contributed to establishing new partnerships and collaborations, identifying implementation partners, establishing results management frameworks and strategies. During this period, she worked on a wide array of development themes including rural livelihoods, forestry, urban development, enterprise development, good governance, energy management and others. She served as a senior member if DFID India's program teams and between 2006-2008, she lead the process of developing sub-national program strategies for the states of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
