I am an innovative and team-oriented fundraising operations professional with five years of experience in fundraising logistics, fundraising software, and revenue reporting and analysis.
Mission motivated: As a professional with five years of experience in the health services nonprofit and higher education space, I am driven by a desire to make a difference in my community and around the world. I have been privileged to work for The V Foundation for Cancer Research and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, both preeminent leaders in cancer research and public health respectively. I am energized by working alongside researchers, faculty members, and fundraisers working towards the common goal of improving health outcomes for all. Data focused, people oriented: As an operations professional on a fundraising team, I am always thinking about ways to better interpret and communicate our team’s fundraising progress. Through analysis of our revenues, I work to deepen our team’s collective understanding of how we are performing against our goals, our peers, and our competitors. Each data point offers a different lens through which to understand our story, and additional ways to celebrate our success. Balanced approach: As an operations and logistics professional, I work to develop and maintain procedures that are both compliant with internal standards, but easy to navigate for my team. As a decision maker, I am intensely focused on arriving at this equilibrium, always inquiring as to how procedures can be simplified without sacrificing the quality of work. In a field where time spent cultivating donor relationships is the ultimate driver of success, procedural efficiency is key in ensuring that valuable face time with our partners and supporters isn’t lost.
