I started at Peek & Toland as the front desk reception. I loved the face to face contact with clients and being able to be the first point of contact for the company. Often times people underestimate the power of reception but in fact it is the important. After managing the front desk for over a year a wonderful opportunity opened up as an immigration liaison. The new position was a bit more behind the scenes in assisting clients with signing contracts, billing issues, office production report and most importantly being available to ensure our clients received the best service at our office. After several years of working with the firm I have expanded my knowledge and interests and now serve the firm in the administrative team. As Finance & HR director I wear many hats. I assist with managing the firm’s monthly and annual budget which includes reconciling our accounts each month. I handle all AR & AP for our various vendors. I also have the pleasure of supporting our office staff with client billing, entering contracts, issuing vendor checks, etc. Now as HR, I am privileged in providing employer and staff support in way of payroll, benefits, event planning, etc.
