My name is Michael Rodriguez. I am a Computer Engineering student and Financial Accounting professional.Born and raised in Miami, I have had the pleasure of being part of a multicultural market. It's given me the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultivate relationships with people from all corners of the globe. I currently attend Florida International University (“FIU”). Being part of the FIU community has exposed me to numerous opportunities. I was able to increase my confidence in my work and was given the ability to effectively use the skills gained with my education. Currently, I work for 24 Asset Management, managing the processing and billing department. I also work for CondeRodriguez Inc., handling several financial accounts and aiding them with their accounting needs.These positions taught me a tremendous amount about the financial field and how to become an essential part of a clients everyday life. My experience has also taught me a lot about myself and has allowed me the opportunities to grow, enhance my communication skills and become a more, well-rounded individual. Being the youngest of three siblings, I've grown up learning to defend myself and what I believe in, as well as honing the skills needed to be an effective leader, along with the values and morals that make me extremely personable. Family, and my relationships with others, is of the utmost importance to me. I’m also very involved in volunteer work and always make a concerted effort to help those in need. I’m actively involved with the American Diabetes Association, the Cuban American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Project, and my local church.
