Origination, structuring and execution of Debt Finance transactions across Corporate Banking; including MBOs, acquisitions, refinance events and shareholder reorganisations. Key responsibilities include credit and financial analysis, pricing and structuring guidance and the negotiation of legal documentation.

Senior Associate in the Corporate Banking Origination team at HSBC Bank plc. The team is focused on the origination and execution of all multi-bank and large bilateral loans where there is no private equity involvement. Acting in conjunction with our Global Banking & Markets colleagues, we are also responsible for providing large corporate clients with access to the debt and equity capital markets

The Executive Management programme is HSBC’s flagship graduate scheme in the UK, comprising multiple placements over two years. The programme aims to create tomorrow’s business leaders – people who, in the future, are able to influence strategy and decisions at a senior business level. The key to the programme is to give a thorough grounding in HSBC's ‘grass roots’ business. The programme provides exposure to every aspect of retail, commercial and strategic management, while offering bespoke training, and early ‘on the job’ responsibility.

During a 6 month posting in one of HSBC's largest and highest performing branches in the UK, I assumed a number of roles including Sales and Services Manager for a team of business specialists. This encompassed balancing the responsibility of line management with the achievement of demanding business performance targets. In addition I took ownership for the branch's customer satisfaction, delivering measurable improvement, and shadowed a number of job roles.

Scanning the global external pharmaceutical regulatory environment and gathering targeted information from a number of published and unpublished resources. Information is analysed and placed into context through application of knowledge on Pfizer’s business and issues relating to research, development and commercial.Meaningful information is disseminated to the Pfizer business units, who apply the “informed” intelligence, (whether regulatory or competitive) to Pfizer’s business strategy. The sharing and analysis of this information complements evolving business needs, allowing Pfizer to understand the impact of any proposed changes. Such critical intelligence information also assists in the development of regulatory policy.
