Over the last 15 years I have held senior executive and governance roles predominantly in the technology and services space. An electrical engineer by training, with widespread operations and marketing experience, I spent four years on the senior executive team of Vodafone NZ, where among other things I had executive accountability for the fixed line business and as executive director of marketing.I’m currently the Group Chief Executive of UP Education, and an independent director for NZX listed Freightways. I have previously served as chief executive of New Zealand’s leading digital payments business Paymark, subsea cable startup Pacific Fibre and internet pioneer ihug.Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work across a number of different industries and have experience across corporate strategy, sales, marketing, product & software development and operations. I have a particular interest in digital disruption and improving the overall customer experience.
