Exchange 15: Microsoft CXP Servicing Workflow Tool (Microsoft ARC) Part of the Exchange 15 team responsible for building and maintaining an ASP.NET website linked with a Windows Service running custom logic controlled by Windows Workflow Foundation. ASP.NET Web Forms were loaded from a backend database where all control logic was stored. This tool was created to unify the interface that inserts bugs into the Microsoft internally controlled bug tracking application called Product Studio. Massive productivity gains for end users filing bugs and smarter bug routing to ensure requests are handled effectively. Technologies employed by this project include ASP.NET, Web Forms, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Services, SQL Server, Source Depot, Product Studio and of course Visual Studio.Integration with SharePoint 2010 Web Services to satisfy specialized requirements to insert and update bugs to a SharePoint data store. Some Msft teams did not use Source Depot but instead used SharePoint Server. Blazed a trail for developers after me to “follow in my footsteps” and reuse the design and code patterns to communicate with SharePoint.
