Mike began his professional career in 1999 with GAP, Inc. after graduating from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. As a team leader and expert in customer service and standards, he quickly was promoted to management and served as store manager in Delaware County and Center City Philadelphia. Soon after he was appointed as Store Manager of the GAP store at the South Street Kids and University of Pennsylvania, the Shoppes at Penn. Michael left GAP, Inc. in 2005 to fully dedicate his time, experience and efforts both as a managing partner of Spark Creative Group and Grooveground Coffeebar. In his role with Grooveground, Mike brings an unpapralelled amount of retail management and customer service experience. Since 2004, he has served as Head of Logistics and Operations for both the corporate and franchise expansion of the company.For more than 20 years, Michael has applied his graceful leadership style and marketing savvyto the ever-changing needs of our clients. He brings an extensive background in consumer retail marketing, education, and the arts and overseas key government, tourism, and arts and culture accounts for the firm, including community organizations and other NGOs. In recent years,he began serving as Director of Operations for Visit South Jersey–the Destination Marketing Organization for the four Southern Delaware River Counties and the Outer Coastal Wine Plain Region in New Jersey. After years of managing the account’s activities and growth, he expanded his role into managing operations, strategic planning, special events, and other activities.
