Regulatory Affairs Analyst
CurrentResponsible for providing written responses to complaints and inquiries fromDepartments of Insurance, Attorneys General, and similar regulatoryagencies. Responses may also be addressed to policyholders, beneficiaries,agents, and attorneys.Process responses to complaints related to the handling of claims, claimdecisions, customer service, policyholder services, premium, new business,underwriting, sales and marketing.Investigate and analyze relevant documents and factsobtained from multiple databases/sources to determine appropriate actionbased on policy language and terms.Obtain and analyze agent statements in response to received complaints.Primarily focused on Supplemental Health related products offered by Bankers Life and Casualty Company, Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company, and Washington National Insurance Company.
