Hello! I work with digital media components and have a passion for video production and storytelling. By sharing the stories of everyday people, my hope is to show the best of what people can do and inspire others to achieve their potential. The more I can get people to connect with my stories, the better the impact I hope to make in the world. I received my bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism (with a minor in Theatre Production) from UW-Eau Claire. After graduation, I became a Newscast Director at WQOW News 18 where I learned the ins-and-outs of the television industry and how to put together a live newscast. During my time at WQOW, I wrote, shot, and edited various promos, commercials, and other video airing on our station. My time at WQOW allowed me to fine-tune my television news skills, moving to a larger market in Madison, WI at WKOW Channel 27 News. Alongside working as a Videographer for WKOW, I worked part-time at a manufacturing company called Automation Components, Inc., who eventually offered me a position to work in their marketing department to create videos for their new website. I moved to Appleton, WI with my wife in 2017 to be closer to her family and started doing digital marketing consulting for Apollo Sprayers HVLP in San Diego, CA. This online-marketing experience helped bring me to a social media management company called BConnected. Working on a range of skill sets from marketing strategies, graphics, photos, ad placements, and video, I made the decision to focus my skill set as a video editor, joining the inbound marketing team at Weidert Group.Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and I look forward to connecting with you!
