Engineering Stores Controller
CurrentTo plan and manage the activities of Main Warehouse, Tools Store and Line Store, in order to provide efficient and effective Material Support to Line/Base Maintenance, Outstations and other airline customers where EK has entered into maintenance services agreements.Liaise with the different Engineering sections such as Line, Base, Overhaul and Outstations in order to understand their requirements to plan and provision for the efficient material services. Identify and recommend the budget requirements for staff and other equipment to Manager Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (MEW&L), in order to achieve efficient and economical operations of stores business.Manage the Pool Stores for the International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) participants, ensuring the prompt material support to the international airline community via the (IATP) organisation. Ensure the provisioning of Aircraft On Ground (AOG) / Critical material requirements with minimum loss of time, to avoid the flight delays and disruption in the aircraft operations. Lead a team of Stores Supply Officers, in order to achieve efficient and economical operations of stores business. Ensure optimum utilisation of the manpower reducing cost of overtime and improving productivity by applying innovative material flow, shift pattern and document handling / processing that could result in large saving. Organise the tools store and to ensure the appropriate storage, handling and calibration of the Tools and Equipment and ensure serviceable upon required.Measure staff performance in accordance with the Performance Matters, recommend training needs, incorporate KPI and monitor measure them as agreed. Generate the reports to analyse and improvements .
