• Ensure availability, actuality and adherence to specific customer SOP / KPI.• To supervise, Manage the transport team, co-ordinate and act as an interface between the Transport Desk & Customer Service team in order to ensure top level of Transport services are delivered in line with the company standards & UAE regulations.• To monitor Transport product P&L, Planning cost affective deliveries routes, job allocation planning, scheduling, ensuring maximum utilization of company vehicles.• Responsible for product file closing & file opening KPI’s.• Monitor & ensure transport desk achieves KPI’s.• Responsible for & monitors the transport (ICA) Internal Cost allocations.• Coordinate & provide assistance to the Logistics team in determining on the type & quantity of vehicle requirements for Customers.• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure maximizing loads on MMI/Costa vehicles. • Maintain continuous checks on the condition of vehicles arriving & dispatching from the logistics facility.• Act as first escalation contact to all transport topics.• Carry out improvement / changes on procedures and systems as proposed by management • Serve as first level contact for any additional staff / requirements related to overland transport services.• Coordinate and monitor transport schedules & ensures transport capability is appropriate, cost effective, and meets requirements.• Proactively co-ordinate with transport Sub-contractors and internal departments to ensure communication of relevant plans and issues are clear.• Ensuring POD’s are received as per agreed timelines.• Immediate notification to the respective staff in case of damages or short shipments.• Carry out cross functional meetings to discuss issues & solutions.• Ensure operational satisfaction and customer retention by providing timely, friendly and excellent transport service.• Manage all tasks/activities within SOP.
