- Technical and disciplinary management of employees in production.- Ensuring efficient, stable, customer-, cost- and quality-optimized and on-time production.- Close cooperation with production planning and control.- Introduction, further development, and active use of common lean methods (5S, Shopfloor Management, etc.), as well as production PIs and KPIs.- Collaboration with quality, maintenance, and process to improve equipment performance (OEE) as well as continuous execution of weak point analyses and implementation of appropriate measures for production improvement and process optimization.- Collaborate on process and product development.- Conduct employee qualification and training programs.- Ensuring the implementation of operational guidelines in occupational safety, environmental protection.- Compliance with quality standards and legal requirements.

Research and Develop a variety of innovative projects - Designs complex 3D molds/parts/assemblies using SolidWorks- Creates detailed 2D engineering drawings for components- Reviews, proposes, and drives changes to improve manufacturability (DFM)- Works with external vendors to drive tool designs, quotes, and ordering of molds/bases/components/materials/etc.- Performs project management duties to determine project scope, schedule, and requirements, and manages schedule and deliverables to completion-Responsible for managing engineering data and performing documentation tasks- Performs QC measurement/inspection & compiles reports-Maintains the confidentiality of activities and projects within the R&D group-Maintains and promotes safety & quality in all aspects of the job function- Manage test builds.- Manage weight/cost matrices.- Generate Build of Materials (BoMs)

-Have experience working in a high volume (medical) manufacturing environment-Have a working knowledge of CNC programming and have a hands-on approach in the troubleshooting of CNC equipment-Have experience with Fanuc control systems.-Have experience Moriseiki, Kitamura, Brother and Mitsubishi CNC machines.-Have experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Solidworks,Surfcam)-Possessed strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects.
