My current role revolves around R&D aerodynamics. I lead the aerodynamic design of new products in Howden and assist in solving installed equipment issues and other general aerodynamic queries. I am an aerodynamics turbomachinery expert with extensive experience within academia and the work environment and currently have three patent applications. I use approaches such as classic hand calculations, computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis and Design of Experiments to predict systems in a wide variety of engineering problems.
