Supported the Military Health System (MHS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) across multiple roles and workstreams.MHS FY17 NDAA PMO:• Tracked progress of 26 MHS work groups against Congressionally-mandated requirements; coordinated with 50+ stakeholders, including five senior DoD leaders, to proactively identify impediments and resolve or escalate issues as needed.• Designed and developed a task tracker/PMO closeout dashboard that detailed 80+ milestones with associated risk scores, depicted the coordination status of reports to Congress, and served as a key data visualization tool for senior stakeholders to make decisions.• Developed multiple briefings for PMO leadership to use for a wide range of audiences at conferences around the globe.• Utilized stakeholder feedback to create a lessons-learned document for MHS leaders that outlined key issues and highlighted ways to improve future undertakings of a similar sort; successfully completed all requirements and closed the PMO.NIH:• Collaborated in an agile environment to engage directly with end-users to determine goals and define product requirements used to provide real-time data in a user-friendly and interactive QlikView dashboard.• Developed an Excel tool to consolidate, analyze, and validate all NCI employee yearly performance review data which increased efficiency by 20%; implemented business validation rules to reduce the total possible number of user errors when entering data.• Collaborated with stakeholders to define processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that drove consistency across the delivery of administrative processes and improved workflow accuracy, timing, and client satisfaction levels by 10%.• Created fillable PDF templates that supported the development of a Lean Six Sigma toolkit, which improved the consistency of business process improvement initiatives across all Institutes and Centers throughout NIH.
