Executive Assistant to the Director of Liturgy and Sacred Arts: For over 20 years, I've supported the planning and celebration of all liturgical celebrations at the Basilica of Saint Mary, including the Sacraments (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, Reconciliation, Healing and Funerals) with the Roman Catholic tradition as well as special prayer services all within the framework of the liturgical year. My primary responsibilities include: monitoring the department’s budget, maintaining Outlook calendar for the department director, monitor postings of campus events and information posted on web pages for correct information, plan department retreat, field incoming calls to the director, arrange meetings, record and distribute minutes for department meeting, develop worship leaflets as needed using InDesign, review correspondence sent to director and responded when assigned to do so. I also coordinate, train, and manage 30 docents for the Basilica. I arrange workshops and presentations internally and externally and negotiate the stipend for the director when applicable. In the absence of the director, I assume responsibilities as director.
