Career Services Manager
CurrentBuild genuine relationships with Ada students in order to coach Ada interns through entry-level software engineering internships and full-time job searches.Proactively monitor internships with companies and interns (through surveys, 1:1 meetings, etc).Anticipate issues that may arise and identify solutions, coach interns and companies (managers/mentors) toward resolution, collaborating with other Ada staff as needed.Collaboratively determine and build career development content by securing outside speakers or presenting on career-related topics, e.g networking, resumes, interview prep, salary negotiation.Support program graduates with job search coaching as they transition from internship to seeking full-time employment, including 1:1 meetings, creation of personalized job search plans and setting up full-time interview loops with partner companies.Develop and maintain relationships with company partners, and understand hiring needs in order to connect interns and alums with opportunities that match their interests and expertise.Report key internship metrics, such as Midpoint Review data, placement data, and salary data.
