Hi! My name is Andy Myers and I am a current Senior at Indiana University Bloomington. My career interests center around Software Development/Engineering as well as UI/UX design. Over the course of my academic career, I have had several opportunities to grow as a student and as a person. As an Undergraduate Instructor, I get to share my love of programming to my fellow students. I help to teach application development in Java, instilling important skills in Git, Graphical User Interfaces, Junit testing, and more. In my role as a Co-Chair of the Luddy Pacesetters I have been able to work towards making Luddy a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a Software Engineering Intern at TRIMEDX. There I heavily developed my professional skills while gaining exposure to what a career in tech can be like. My favorite memories are writing fix scripts to solve incidents, implementing an AI chatbot to assist technicians, and creating a brand new workspace for those same technicians to work in.I love to bring a positive energy into everything I do. They say if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life. I take pride in my communication skills with the goal to always be clear and effective. Being a team player is also very important to me. No one can do the job alone, and it is important to work together to achieve success.I would love to connect with any potential peers and employers!
