I grew up working on my mom’s computer. I was so intrigued to know how a computer actually worked that I took it apart, put it back together, and made sure that it always worked for us. As I grew older, I got into the world of video games. My cousin and I started on consoles and since then, I have become THE gamer nerd. While my passion for computers started with tinkering, it turned into troubleshooting tech issues for my family and eventually evolved into helping people outside of my family. Printers have been my specialty. While working at SquashSmarts, we always had a printer that would go down, jam or start fritzing over an outdated driver and I would be the one to fix it. Today, I have the wonderful opportunity of taking the ITWorks class expanding my knowledge in IT and building connections with like-minded individual. I have had so much fun on this journey – learning about IT and about myself and what I wanted out of this career path. I hope to grow within a company and help make myself and the company better.
