Having worked with web technologies for almost twenty years, my focus for the past ten years has been learning technologies. I have a passion for delivering technological solutions/interventions to educational issues with minimal impact to the employee/student. I have developed my reputation by delivering easy to implement and use solutions which can be widely adopted on a large scale. My technical background allows me to discuss and develop solutions with developers, whilst possessing the ability to transfer my strategies and visions into models and processes which are delivered at all levels of an organisation. Over the past ten years I’ve worked with all levels of the organisational hierarchy, from developing organisation strategies and solutions at board level, to supporting users in accessing them at the lower levels of the hierarchy. I have developed and implemented e-learning courses into an organisation with almost 40,000 employees, as well as introducing and developing a complete learning environment for an organisation with 15,000 employees.I have experience in developing learning strategies which encompass traditional e-learning materials, but also exploit the use of mobile learning and social learning to aid the initial delivery of content, or more helpfully, performance support to enable employees to work efficiently once in the workplace. I genuinely believe in the use of technology in learning, and this belief makes it far easier for me to deliver my visions and strategies.
