Senior Ux Researcher
CurrentLeads end-to-end UX research studies using various methods, including in-depth user interviews, unmoderated testing, diary studies, generative research, journey mapping, persona development, benchmarking, heuristic evaluation, A/B testing, and more. • Closely collaborates with financial services clients’ product and design teams to align on learning needs, frame the research approach, and build research interview plans• Moderates hundreds of in-depth user interviews to explore user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement; includes research on American Express commercial platforms, such as Business Blueprint• Analyzes qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to create value• Generates actionable insights that help stakeholders understand users and improve the user experience• Develops research reports that bring user needs and insights to life and influence product and design strategies• Uses a storytelling approach to present research findings to cross-functional teams across product, design, and engineering, effectively communicating user needs in relation to business goals• Utilizes subject matter expertise in accessibility research to help clients improve the accessibility of their offerings; leads research with participants who have physical accessibility needs and/or neurodivergence and use various assistive technology, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, etc.
