Conduct community-based research around the most frequent users of the Out of the Cold (OOTC) program for homelessness individuals across Toronto. This research will provide clear information about the needs of this population to ensure proper supports are in place to connect OOTC users to appropriate resources and supports to access and secure suitable housing. The research findings will support responsive program development and strategies designed to support individuals securing housing, effecting real change for the most vulnerable men and women in our city.

• Provided leadership and expertise on the evaluation of the airport kiosk (requested by IRCC) • Actively managed and collaborated with Peel LIP staff on matters relating to evaluation design, data collection, data analysis, knowledge translation and exchange, and general troubleshooting• Monitored budget and work plan to ensure timelines and deliverables were met within budget• Discussed sensitivity around results in relation to funders and lead organizations • Prepared and presented a high level, user-friendly presentation of findings to MNS• Ensured high levels of privacy and confidentiality throughout the project

The PLE Learning Exchange is a provincial network for community and legal workers interested in the practice of public legal education. The Learning Exchange aims to support organizations across Ontario in developing and delivering effective public legal education and information for their communities. A key focus of this position is to create an active community of PLE practitioners centred around the PLE Learning Exchange website.
