Examined the question of predominantly negative communications related to cycling and cyclists from an equality perspective.• Critical Discourse analysis of 90 television artefacts, 159 minutes of radio, and 1,460 social media comments, survey distributed online, collecting 500 responses. • Semi-structured interviews of about 45 minutes each, with 16 respondents. Transcription and analysis of results.• All results reported in thesis including charts and tables as appropriate. • Paper published on results of survey.• Speaker at a number of international conferences (15-minute presentation, 5 minutes’ audience questions). Poster presenter at two.

Work From Home

• One-to-one consultations with university students ranging from first year undergraduate to postgraduate, across a wide range of ages and social backgrounds. My “repeat clients” included several students living with disabilities that affected their learning.• All tutors were instructed to create video guides on assigned topics during hours we had no bookings or had no-shows. My line manager was impressed with the quality of my tutorials and tasked me with updating all our resources. • I started by organising the existing resources into an orderly file system on SharePoint, using a numbering system to force the file order into the AWC preference rather than alphabetical.• I sourced the brand guidebook for TU Dublin and created a new PowerPoint template for the AWC adhering to the required style. I created a screencast guide for my colleagues on how to use it, and a few simple design principles to keep in mind for a professional appearance. • Existing video tutorials had to be updated from the old Dublin Institute of Technology branding and style to that of the new TU Dublin. I recreated the PowerPoints in the new style, took the sound from existing recordings, improved the audio quality by editing out unnecessary pauses, and other interferences, combined the cleaned-up soundtracks with the new slide decks and exported it all to video.
