Green-Campus, a programme of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), is an evolution of Green-Schools for third level education institutes in Ireland. - Overseeing the coordination and strategic development of the programme - PR and management of social media and web presence - Development of secondary environmental programmes such as for university hospitals and service providers into third level institutes - Leadership role in the development of an international model for Eco-Campus - Keeping fully up to date on developments in the higher and further education sectors

Green Communities was an EU funded Interreg programme designed to support the work of community groups in improving their local environment whilst fostering links between two cross-border regions in Wales and Ireland. The Green Communities Officer role involved: - Recruiting new community groups to join the Green Communities network and providing ongoing support and assistance to groups in the form of relevant training, support and grant administration.- Direct ‘hands on’ support of community groups involving weekly work with asylum seekers, drug rehabilitation clinics, community gardens, single parent groups, NGOs, traveller communities and Tidy Towns groups.- Event organization: for the Green Communities AGMs, steering committee meetings, cross-border community group training and capacity building exercises in both Ireland and Wales. - PR related to the role: liaising with local and regional media and contributing to local radio. Initial development and ongoing maintenance of the programme website (now decommissioned). - Report writing and meeting the complex requirements of an EU-funded cross-border programme.

- Engagement with schools, businesses, community groups and householders to provide support in reducing environmental impacts under core themes of waste, energy, water and transport. - PR and Communications: Maintenance and development of the Green Home website and programme PR including television and local radio appearances and representing the programme at events such as the Ideal Home Show, local authority events, etc. - Research and development of extensive programme materials, presentations and workshops for schools, businesses, community groups and householders under the core themes. - Delivery of workshops and presentations to the steering committee, businesses, schools, community groups, Environmental Awareness Officers (EAOs) from local authorities, etc.
