Primarily Working on the Green Schools Programme. Also working on Clean Coasts Programme, IBAL Marine project and Blue Flags & Green Coast Award Programme's. As well as facilitation of : a Walk for Water event, Water Forums, Marine Environment Forums, Clean Coasts Roadshows, Clean Coast Week events, Our Coast Our Voices at Other Voices Ballina, Green Schools Seminars and SEAI Energy workshops to schools.

The aims of the GMIT Mayo Green Campus project are to raise awareness of environmental issues and take practical actions under the Green Campus themes. We have drawn up a Charter for each theme giving guidelines on the positive contributions staff and students can make. As co-ordinator it is my responsibility to engage with and empower staff and students on towards these goals, and to liaise with all interested outside parties on behalf of the green Campus. GMIT Mayo was the first Institute of Technology in the world to be awarded the status of Green Campus by The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and An Taisce in 2011.
