The specific duties of a Group Sales Manager are highly complex. I’m responsible for all activities relating to direction, control and co-ordination of all events, while providing leadership towards staff. Also, achieving the maximum profit for the properties and helping growth in line with the company’s vision and goals. I’m also responsible for the establishment and planning of strategies to expand the customer base in the sales and marketing department.Responsibilities-: Soliciting clients for new and continued occupancy growth Pricing / Billing Plan Itinerary/ scheduling and execution of school groups  Meet/ greet all group tours, school groups, and brides  Orchestrate / plan social event for Cooperate groups and weddings Negotiates pricing of room rates and services to maximize Revenue  Cold calling for new sales, attend and exhibit at profitable trade  Prompt and thorough follow-up to all leads Researching and approaching new markets  Provide timely feedback to Senior Management regarding sales performance Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales and activity reports submitted to the accounting department. Monitoring guest / potential guest preference to determine sales comparison with the competition. Set examples for team members in areas of personal character, conduct, commitment, professionalism, work habit, as well as organizational and selling skills.
