I love creativity in business. I love to help people get through their 'blank page' moments or 'muddy water' thinking. I believe that applied design thinking can open us to unexplored options, deeper understanding and empathy, which ultimately drive us to innovation. And it's fun!I like to connect with people, understand their business' personality and provide practical visual tools to represent them in the world. Getting into the bones of what drives people and businesses is fascinating.And for further reading (because we have soooo much time on our hands….), here's my take on design:Design is not about creating art or covering a piece of engineering with something beautiful. It is about researching, understanding and listening. It is about people and their interaction with a product or idea. It is taking this information - these needs, wants and brief constraints - putting them into a melting pot of exploration and ideation, evaluating and proposing multiple solutions, then refining and extracting the essence.
