The Great River Network (GRN) project seeks to expand the Minnesota Historical Society's capacity to create, manage, preserve and provide access to digital content across county and state boundaries by providing a portal that allows users to explore the collections of GRN partners by facilitating the discovery of diverse resources such as photographs, artifacts, manuscripts, vital records and library catalogs.
