Currently supporting the Joint Staff J-7 Deputy Director Joint Training (JS J-7 DDJT) Command’s Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) Division, providing program planning and implementation of strategic communications to facilitate successful introduction and adoption of online joint training technology. Communications lead directly supporting the Program Director in establishing a strategic communications plan and integrating that plan throughout a global sponsor and stakeholder audience. As a direct result, the program has successfully created awareness and understanding of its value proposition among its stakeholders. The program applied a methodological, comprehensive communications approach to gain stakeholder buy-in in achieving the full, effective implementation of the training capability. This was accomplished across the spectrum of the Office of Secretary of Defense Personnel and Readiness, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies, Allied Command Transformation, Department of State and others. Today, the program is widely recognized by both government and industry as a first-class organization delivering value and impact to the joint training environment with the successful development and delivery of the distributed learning capability. JKO received nine awards, to include the U.S. Distance Learning Association’s “21st Century Best Practices” Award; Federal Computer Week “Rising Star” Award and CIO Magazine’s “Excellence in Innovation and Technical Integration.”

Lead for the JS J-7 Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) Program Strategic Communications planning and implementation. Developed Strategic Communications plan building on Stakeholder Analysis and concentrating on the unique value proposition that JKO brings to its stakeholders. In accordance with plan, develops communications products to identify and leverage change communications throughout the organization (and externally) by pushing communications both vertically and horizontally, making the JKO brand more easily identifiable and memorable, and engaging stakeholders to fully realize the extent of the JKO mission.
