My original choice of college majors was Fine Arts, however, along the way I took classes in advertising and home economics that introduced me to seeing art in a more practical way. Due to monetary limitations, I did not finish college in consescutive years. In 1994, (while working full time) I completed a BaP in Public Administration from University of San Francisco. Over the course of 40 years work experience, I have worked in soft retail, retail grocery, government social services, medical and law enforcement office management, records and computers. I also taught adult exercise classes and now teach K through 5th grade music at a charter school. My volunteer work has run parallel to my years of child rearing starting in 2002, and includes leadership roles at school and church, including board officer positions, the first woman council chairperson, and building construction coordinator for a $3.5 million dollar church project. While at USF (CA) I discovered and confirmed that over 20 years of life experience has more than qualified me for most positions of leadership.
