Producing results and providing creative efficient solutions are my main passions. Everything else I do for Pickering College – from event and calendar management, coordinating information and building relationships – is to deliver extraordinary and effective support for our staff and students. I recently left my role at Crescent School to move here to Pickering College, and am excited to grow in my new roleAs a Project Manager, I have had the opportunity to work at advertising agencies such as OgilvyOne and Carlson Marketing, and at profit and non-profit organizations such as Amex Canada and Fairlawn Avenue United Church. Throughout my career, I have worked on campaigns with AIG (Norwich Union), Heart & Stroke Foundation, Nestle, Royal Bank of Canada, Cogeco Cable, SAP and Amex. My background also includes training and education with individuals and groups. At both OgilvyOne and American Express, I developed and instituted programs for marketing professionals to learn and understand their roles and responsibilities to achieve successful direct mail campaigns.★Highlights- Creative problem solver under pressure- Able to build strong collaborative relationships between vendors and clients- Effective at managing conflict resolution through communication and negotiation- Proactive project management – able to actively predict issues and roadblocks, and react accordingly to avoid delays and cost hikesI am a member of the North Metro Chorus, the 5-time International Sweet Adelines Champions. I have been volunteering with the chorus for over 15 years and I personally hold three international gold medals. I have acted as section lead and have held various other chorus leadership roles. I am also a soprano soloist, regularly performing at church and other events.
