Right-hand support to executive director, founder and board of directors to solicit individuals, foundations and corporations through grant proposals, direct mail campaigns and special events in support of medical research and national K-12 school skin health program.

Created new strategic role aimed at diversifying funding sources to grow development capacity. Worked with executive director and board of directors to to conceptualize, implement and manage strategic plans for local chapter of a nationally recognized pediatric literacy program through increased outreach to children's books publishers, early childhood-focused foundations, and other NYC-based social services funders. Created first annual city-wide “Early Literacy Awareness Week” now in its 6th year.
