Licensing Manager
Current• Contract management for all licenses, to include new contracts and renewals. Carefully reviews terms before executing, in addition to applying for new clients to an agency and new product categories and distribution channels for existing licenses.• Responsible for maintaining, compiling, processing, and submitting quarterly royalty reports for all sales to collegiate licensing agencies and schools/organizations that manage their own trademark licensing programs, including CLC, FLM, Affinity Marketing Consultants, Exemplar Associates, Nexus Licensing Group, CORE81, Independents, etc.• Conducts post-royalty reporting audits to identify compliance issues and work with key stakeholders to correct non-compliance issues • Manage, maintain, and amortize licensing minimum guarantee and advance royalty schedules.• Analyze royalty trends to assess performance and identify strength and weaknesses.• Review all licensed artwork for compliance and submit in various license management portals and via email for schools/organizations that manage their own trademark licensing programs. Communicate approvals, disapprovals, and revision requests in a timely manner to help keep production on schedule.• Distributes updated style guides and communicates any brand refreshes company-wide.• Maintains the Royalty Detail List that contains information such as agencies, location, rates, contract types, exemptions, etc. for 1,000+ licensed colleges, universities, and organizations and distribute company-wide. • Educates staff and sales force on licensing and compliance and communicates issues found in order to remedy quickly.• Responsible for all Fair Labor Association requirements, to include the FLA quarterly eLearning.• Responsible for all Sumerra requirements, to include leading 3rd party supply chain audits.• Facilitate successful internal and external royalty audits through sound and thorough documentation and research.• Represent Herff Jones at tradeshows and the ICLA.
