The Learning & Engagement Department is a crucial part of the National Women’s Hall of Fame as it continues to grow and expand into its new home in the historic 1844 Seneca Knitting Mill and nationally. In pursuit of fulfilling the National Women’s Hall of Fame’s mission of, “Showcasing great women… Inspiring all!” the Learning & Engagement Department’s charge is to enrich the lives of present and future generations through the presentation, education, and engagement with the stories and legacies of the 300+ National Women’s Hall of Fame Inductees. The Learning & Engagement Manager reports to the Executive Director, and is responsible for developing and implementing high-level strategy into all Learning & Engagement activities; including but not limited to, educational, marketing, curatorial, and programmatic campaigns.

Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

Owned and managed a small-scale tour business which operated with multiple companies. Researched and created content for all tours, designed for an international audience, while facilitating multiple types of tours including: Dutch food, craft beer in Amsterdam, and The Story of Amsterdam

Eindhoven Area, Netherlands

Coordinated the education, communication and presentation of the three-year research project, the Werksalon. The Werksalon investigates how the museum can collaborate alongside local Eindhoven community organizations to create an intervention within the collection display.

Boulder, Colorado

Presented at campus information sessions and travel throughout the U.S. to represent CU Boulder. Handled the office’s front-line by meeting with prospective students and families, responding to phone and e-mail inquiries and handling many reception/front desk duties. Additionally, conducted one-on-one meetings with prospective students and their families and coordinated admission-related programs and activities for the On-Campus Programs and Access Teams

Created interactive activities for museum visitors of all ages while engaging museum exhibits and collections. Assisted the Adult Programs Coordinator in various duties that involve planning, coordinating and problem solving for Adult Programs.
