CurrentPeople Partner for Claims and Underwriting Geographical teams working closely with the Heads of Sectors.Day to DayMeet regularly with Sector leaders on ongoing complex people issues, resourcing requirements and current operational objectives.Provide People partnering support to People Leaders and teams - advising on long term sickness absence issues, informal and formal performance management, dealing with grievances and internal investigations, informal mediation, resource and succession planning, recruitment and salary budgets and leading on more complex ER issues including liaising with external counsel both in the UK and overseas.Involvement in Reward matters - lead on annual salary review clinics, performance rating moderation with senior leaders, arrangements for overseas secondments and employer of record arrangements in new jurisdictions, liaising closely with our Reward, Compliance and Legal functions.Manage project work and other initiatives relating to the People Strategy and wider operational strategic KPIs.Project Work & Other AchievementsSupported extensive OD changes post-merger, impacting around 470 roles including a new management team structure.Supported the design of a new operational RACI matrix.Lead a complex employee TUPE transfer alongside merger and office relocation activities, liaising with legal counsel in both the UK and overseas.Designed and rolled out a new Performance Management process including system development and training materials.Implemented regulatory succession planningLead on all TUPE administration including decommissioning a legacy HR system, setting up new employment contracts for Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada.Lead on the implementation and customisation of a new HRIS system with payroll integration including designing and developing company-wide workflows.Handled various complex ER matters.Facilitated team away days.
