I developed fiscal partnerships during our transition from the US to Canada, and subsequently coordinated the process of incorporating as a registered charity in 2015.I led the coordination and outreach of two core programs that use film and theatre to explore wellness and the mental health impacts of sexual violence with college-aged students. I grew these programs from one workshop to over 90 workshops between 2015-2020, reaching over 4,300 postsecondary students in eight provinces. I also aided in administering a monthly mental health short film competition and annual film production grants.The following are highlights of the value I brought to AWIC: - Established relationships with over 120 community mental health agencies across Canada in order to facilitate connections between transition-aged youth and accessible resources. - Raised $200,000+ in income to subsidize campus programming via grantwriting; developed relationships with funders to determine priorities, maintained ongoing reporting and evaluation. - Facilitated 55 campus workshops and presented at four national mental health conferences (CMHA, CACUSS, CICMH, CCMHC).
