About Natalie Daley
Oh hello there!I'm Natalie, a dynamic and passionate professional with eight years of experience in the mental health and non-profit sectors. I love developing and facilitating accessible mental health education and collaborating on projects that support communities in creative and inclusive ways. Out of graduate school I stumbled upon Art With Impact, a unique arts and wellness organization based in San Francisco. Driven by a graduate degree in non-profit management, personal lived experience, and a passion for supporting youth, I partnered with the Executive Director to incorporate the organization as a Canadian charity. I spent the next five years growing AWI's flagship program through outreach, program coordination, fundraising and strategic partnerships. I had the pleasure of supporting students and bridging the gap between community organizations and post-secondary campuses across the country. I then became a safeTALK trainer with a vision for promoting suicide prevention particularly in industries and among communities where the topic is taboo. From there I became a content developer and writer for Kids Help Phone, creating engaging and educational web resources (interactives / tools / workbooks) for Canada's leader in e-mental health solutions for youth.I'm currently enjoying my role as the Manager of Group Coaching with TaskHuman, whose unique approach reduces barriers to support and creates a meaningful, global community. In my spare time you can usually find me tuning into webinars at the intersection of mental health and health promotion or uplifting equity-deserving folks through content.Feel free to reach out to me about any of the above - I'd love to connect!

I developed fiscal partnerships during our transition from the US to Canada, and subsequently coordinated the process of incorporating as a registered charity in 2015.I led the coordination and outreach of two core programs that use film and theatre to explore wellness and the mental health impacts of sexual violence with college-aged students. I grew these programs from one workshop to over 90 workshops between 2015-2020, reaching over 4,300 postsecondary students in eight provinces. I also aided in administering a monthly mental health short film competition and annual film production grants. The following are highlights of the value I brought to AWIC: - Established relationships with over 120 community mental health agencies across Canada in order to facilitate connections between transition-aged youth and accessible resources. - Raised $200,000+ in income to subsidize campus programming via grantwriting; developed relationships with funders to determine priorities, maintained ongoing reporting and evaluation. - Facilitated 55 campus workshops and presented at four national mental health conferences (CMHA, CACUSS, CICMH, CCMHC).
