Techo is an organization located in Latin America and parts of the Caribbean with the goal of providing technical assistance and access to financing to support the growth of small business in impoverished communities. I led workshops providing assistance in the development of business plans and assisted entrepreneurs in the presentation of those business plans to a board consisting of Techo staff as a requirement of loan approval.

Achieve is a free, year-round educational program that serves 70 low-income middle school students. My job as an intern was to help plan and run morning meetings with the students, plan extra-curricular activities such as field days and field trips, occasionally assisting teachers in classes, taking photos and performing other administrative duties as needed.
