This company import heavy machinery ( excavators, rollers, loaders, plate compactors, rammers, buckets etc.) and improves them to New Zealand standard for contractors.Duties and responsibilities included but were not limited to the following:• Investigating faults and improving systems on machinery (e.g. excavators). Work was undertaken with focus on safety in busy workshop• Generating reports and updating Service and Maintenance Manuals for machines before delivery. Included creation of detailed methods that could be easily followed• Participating in business meetings with suppliers and customers to build relationships• Gaining skills in financial management where appropriate including invoicing, preparation of quotations, costing of improvements and product costing• Contribution in CAD design which included creating and updating drawings for manufacturing parts• Stock Taking using Excel Spreadsheet
