At my last job where I worked as a Customer Service Representative at Catawiki, I was responsible for the timely and accurate answering of questions from sellers and buyers via phone and email. I managed disputes and complaints, to find the best solution for both parties. I worked together with other departments to improve the customer experience and spotted possible improvements in order to be ahead of questions and optimise processes.The job I had prior to that at Convergys working on the Nike account was similar in my role as a Customer Service Representative. I also gained some experience there communicating via the chat platform with the customers. The daily tasks included assisting customers by placing orders for them, contacting courier companies with logistic enquiries and answering general Nike related queries.Lastly, the longest job I have had, for 11 years, was as Subscriptions Officer/Secretary at Stichting Ileia Foundation, Centre for Learning on Sustainable Agriculture. I was responsible for maintaining the subscribers database which included, amongst other things, a quarterly mailing of invoices and reminders to the paying subscribers of the Farming Matters magazine. I paid office invoices and salaries via telebanking and handled the petty cash. I was the receptionist, I communicated with the regional southern partners and I was the contact for office equipment companies eg. the internet service providers, printer machine company etc.. I dealt with incoming and outgoing post and emails. I ordered office supplies, arranged team lunches/meetings, helped with travel arrangements, took minutes in meetings, helped my colleagues when needed and generally ensured that the office was in good order for the whole team.I like working in a team, as well as independently. I am organised and keep to deadlines. I find the roles as Secretary and Customer Service Representative fulfilling because they involve doing a variety of tasks every day.
